MB&F

LM PERPETUAL EVO TITANIUM

The Legacy Machine Perpetual, the award-winning and convention-breaking perpetual calendar conceived for MB&F by Stephen McDonnell, gains a new level of liberation with the LM Perpetual EVO.

The EVO name encompasses a redesigned, sleeker case in high-performance titanium, ergonomic double-sprung correctors and an integrated rubber strap for the smoothest wearing experience of any MB&F Machine. This is also MB&F's most robust timepiece yet, thanks to a new ‘FlexRing’ shock-absorbing system and - for the first time in any MB&F creation - 80m of water resistance, enabled by a screw-down crown.

LM Perpetual EVO is now available in grade 5 titanium with a green CVD dial-plate.

Worldwide shipping is offered free of charge. Local customs duties and other taxes applicable in the country of delivery are borne by the buyer.

Description

Over the past 15 years, MB&F creations have transported their wearers to destinations that exist only on maps of the imagination: from star-cruisers to deep-sea jellyfish, Maximilian Büsser’s Machines are the mechanical cartographers of the multiverse.

But the greatest journey has yet to be undertaken, and true progress is marked by evolution. With the LM Perpetual EVO, you become the navigator; the map is your life. On this journey, you’ll never have to leave your watch behind.

The MB&F collection has welcomed several complications and horologically prestigious mechanisms over the past 15 years, including the record-smashing TriAx that debuted in 2019’s Legacy Machine Thunderdome. In terms of combining prestige, tradition and innovation, however, the LM Perpetual has remained at the apex of MB&F watchmaking savoir-faire since it was introduced in 2015.

The LM Perpetual EVO was first launched in zirconium with three options of PVD/CVD dial-plate colour. A grade 5 titanium edition follows in 2021, with a green CVD dial pate. All editions feature a closely-fitted, integrated rubber strap for the smoothest wearing experience of any MB&F Machine ever.

The LM Perpetual EVO is not a watch for sports, it is a watch for life.

The Creator

Maximilian Büsser and Friends

After decades conforming to the rules of corporate watchmaking, Max Büsser broke the chains and started a rebellion in 2005; a rebellion called MB&F - Maximilian Büsser & Friends.

MB&F is an artistic concept laboratory based around a simple idea: to assemble collectives of independant watchmaking professionals to develop radical watches - Horological or Legacy Machines. By nurturing teams of talented individuals, harnessing their passion and creativity and crediting each person's essential role, MB&F uses their synergy to become much greater than the sum of its parts. Respecting tradition, but never constrained by it, MB&F reinterprets traditional, high-quality watchmaking into three-dimensional kinetic sculptures.

While MB&F’s futuristic Horological Machines have a firm foundation in the very best of traditional horology, Büsser wanted to pay homage to that rich tradition by imagining the type of timepieces he might create if he had been born 100 years earlier, i.e. 1867 instead of 1967. This gave birth to the more classic Legacy Machine collection, of which the LM Perpetual is a prime example. With the EVO editions, the LM Perpetual gains a new level of liberation offering additional comfort, robustness and legibility.
